Ted

Ted (Taka in the Japanese original) is a character from the Stitch! anime. He bullies Yuna and her friends.

Physical appearance[]

Ted is a white-skinned boy with burgundy hair and a dark red cap with blue sides on it and on the visor. He wears a green tank top and brown shorts, and on his right wrist he wears a purple bracelet.

Background and appearances[]

He and Marvin are Kenny's best friends who are bullies. They often give in to Penny's whims, such as dancing in costume during her performance in a competition. They once had a competition between their team and Yuna's karate dojo, where the battle ended in a draw.

In "A Stinky Episode", he helped Penny kidnap Mr. Stenchy because she liked him for being cute and pink. Stitch and Yuna tried to get him back, but Kenny, Ted and Marvin got in the way and ended up with Mr. Stenchy smelling really bad.

In "We Wishy You a Washy Christmas", he and his friends catered to Penny's whims as usual, but this time for her to invite them to a Christmas party. According to Ted, this will be the number one party on the island, and he really wants to try the pineapple dessert. But, unfortunately, Ted accidentally spills ice cream and sprays soda all over Penny's face, so she throws him out of her gang and refuses to invite him to the party. Kenny and Marvin tried to comfort him, but Penny called them and they ran after her. Ted was alone and very sad. When Stitch, along with Wishy-Washy, fulfilled the wishes of others, Stitch saw Ted and asked what he wanted. Out of sadness, Ted said he wanted to ruin Penny's party and the tree turned into a monster. Yuna, Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley were trying to figure out how to defeat him and Ted was there. He fought the monster and was very scared, screaming that he wanted it to stop or for it to disappear. Yuna told him that it is necessary not only to wish, but also to fulfill it yourself. Ted, with the help of a fishing rod, saved Penny and then the monster was defeated. Penny forgave him and at the end Ted was one of the many who were at the party and Penny gave him a pineapple dessert.

In "Switcheroo", he again bullied Taro with his friends by throwing his book about insects. Then Yuna came to help her friend and they left, arguing that there are more important things to do than mess with Taro. Then they were on a school field trip in the forest, where the teacher told them about insects.

In "Hunkahunka Burnin' Angel", he and Marvin were at Kenny's side when he complained about not having a date for Valentine's Day. Then they noticed that Stitch had an Angel and this made Kenny desperate. Stitch suggested they use Hunkahunka and then Sasha fell under the influence of this experiment and fell in love with Kenny and Ted and Marvin were happy for a friend. Then they discovered that this effect on Sasha made her simple, stupid and obsessive, and they ran away from her. Then Hunkahunka pecked them all and they fell in love with Stitch and chased after him. Then they fell into the pool and the effect of Hunkahunka was removed.

At the end of the second season, Ted, along with everyone else, had tears of happiness in his eyes when he saw that Stitch had managed to survive the explosion of the black hole, showing that he was also incredibly affected by the idea that Stitch had died in the explosion.

Trivia[]

He and his bully friends differ from Mertle's gang in that their bullying methods are more violent, as well as stealing things and hitting weaklings like Taro.
In the English dub of "Ichariba Chodei" and "Angel's Flight", the credits mistakenly use his original Japanese name "Taka" instead of his dub name.
