Nian is an illegal genetic experiment created by Jumba Jookiba, and the sixth experiment he created in China based on what he learns in ancient Chinese scrolls.

"Tell the World"[]
After receiving the ancient scrolls, Jumba was inspired to create a genetic experiment based on the Chinese mythical creatures that were in the scroll. This time, he created an experiment of abducting children. He escapes and kidnaps Ai's friends. Then Ai figures out how to defeat Nian, but later it turns out that he loves horror movies and wants to become a star. Then she develops a cunning plan by offering him to act as a monster. He agrees and is working on completing the portfolio. The last task was to play the savior of children, then Nian, unaware of nothing, shows this place to Ai. Then he and Stitch free the children, and only after almost all the children had escaped did he realize that he had been tricked. He tries to defeat Stitch and Ai, but at that time, Jumba keeps up and sends Nian to a parallel dimension with the help of a new device.

In this episode, Nian and some other Chinese experiments were summoned from a parallel dimension to battle the Jaboodies.
Personality[]
Unlike the other Chinese experiments, Nian is extremely aggressive because he had the function of stealing children. He also expressed all emotions as anger. But later, it turned out that he really loves horror stories and filming and dreams of becoming a star. Soon after, the good part of his soul is revealed. It is also easy to fool him. In "Monstrosity", he is already kind and helps the main characters in the final battle with the aliens. He also laughed in this episode, so he apparently learned to express other emotions.

Nian is a two-legged orange experiment with two arms and claws. His belly looks like the belly of a crocodile or a dragon. It has yellow appendages on its arms and neck.
