Mrs. Tanaka is a character introduced in the first season of Stitch!.

Mrs. Tanaka is known throughout the island for her kindness, she has a son who, like Yuna's father, often disappears at work off the island. Mr. Honda wanted to deliver a letter to her from her son, who had last written to her three months ago. But Honda got sick and decided to postpone the delivery until tomorrow, but Yuna and Stitch decided that there was no need to delay, because Tanaka misses her son very much. They ask Mr. Meade for a ride to Tanaka's house, where they almost lose the letter, but then return it back. They arrive in the evening when Tanaka is gardening and they give her letters. Her son texted her that he could not come now, but despite this, Tanaka looks happy. When Yuna asks why she is happy, Tanaka replies that her son loves his job very much and he took the time to write to her. Yuna learns a very important life lesson.
