Midori is a character who appears in the first two seasons of Stitch!.
Background and appearances[]
Midori is a mother of J.J., a young boy who is a student at Yuna's dojo and the husband of Jack, the latter who is hard-working and very strict towards his son.
In "Himamushi", the only episode where Midori and her family are focused on, Jack's unrelenting discipline towards J.J. becomes so overbearing that the latter wishes he'd stop being so strict and take a day off, which the yokai Himamushi overhears and grants his wish. The following Jack then became lazy and relaxed, which delights J.J., and the three spend quality time together. However, this causes problem at the dry cleaners that their family runs, as Izayoi's residents complaining about their laundry not getting cleaned, forcing Midori, J.J., Yuna, and Stitch to work hard to clean the huge backup of laundry. After work, Midori and Gramma start discussing their father and his good qualities until eventually, J.J. becomes ashamed of his own selfish desires, and he, Yuna, Stitch, Gramma, and Kijimunaa find Himamushi in the Chitama Forest. After J.J. confesses to Himamushi that likes his father the way he was and wants him back to normal, Yuna demands the yokai to undo the spell, which the yokai complies. Upon returning home, J.J. is delighted to have Jack back to normal. He demands his father to never change again but also not to work too hard, to which Jack happily agrees to. At the very end, Midori laughs with everyone else.
