Makiko (マキ子) is one of the students at New Town Elementary introduced in Stitch! ~Best Friends Forever~, the anime's third season. She is Toriko's best friend, and they often hang out with Jessica.
Background and personality[]
Toriko and Makiko don't seem to be as hostile towards Yuna as Jessica, which makes them not like the Mertle and Penny gangs. Together with Makiko, they want to go out of town together in the future and live in a quiet house with many kittens. They often listen to Jessica's jokes and puns and pretend they're funny by pretending to laugh. They also have no embarrassment for Jessica, such as when she danced in the brains contest in front of the cameras, they hoped that no one knew that they were friends with her. During the Petite Queen competition, Toriko and Makiko could not stand the separation and saved each other from Thresher's attack. Toriko and Makiko also quietly ate all the food they had when they were on the island in search of the wishing flower, for which they are very ashamed and feel great guilt about it. Also, Makiko has a complex because of her appearance, she wants her face to be narrower.
