Lilo & Stitch Wiki

The Luau Manager is a character who appears in the 2002 original animated Lilo & Stitch and the 2025 live-action Lilo & Stitch films.

Biography[]

Little is known about him other than that he is a man who runs a luau restaurant (named Jimmy's Luau in the 2025 film) that appeals to tourists visiting Hawaii. Nani Pelekai and David Kawena both worked for him, although the former was fired by the manager due to Stitch. In the 2002 film, it was because Stitch attacked a disguised Pleakley, who was working with Jumba to capture the experiment. In the 2025 film, it's because Stitch caused a table fire (by accident) when he was trying to replicate the fire dancers.

Personality[]

Lilo & Stitch (2002)[]

In the brief time he is seen, he appears to be stern and disapproving of his employees and their pets disrupting business, as he tells her before she leaves, "Uh, this is not working out." He does look at Nani sadly, however, as she leaves the luau with Lilo and Stitch, knowing that he just made her family unemployed.

Lilo & Stitch (2025)[]

He is portrayed in this film to be a strict boss who expects his employees to be working as soon as they arrive for their shift, angrily calling for Nani to get to work right away when she arrives with Lilo and Stitch, both of whom she forces to stay seated at a table. He gets slightly bothered by his employees taking a selfie of themselves with a decorated luau pig in one brief scene. When Stitch accidentally sets a table on fire, he and one of his employees hurriedly put it out with a water bucket. After the fire, he is last seen retrieving Nani's uniform from her as she, back in her casual outfit, is fired and departs the luau with Lilo and Stitch.
