The Cliff Dragons are illegal genetic experiments created by Jumba Jookiba. Two of the three dragons were the second and the third experiments he created in China based on what he learns in ancient Chinese scrolls; the third dragon is the offspring of the two.
Background[]
"Spirals"[]
After receiving the ancient scrolls, Jumba was inspired to create a genetic experiment based on the Chinese mythical creatures that were in the scroll. He decided to create an experiment based on a Chinese dragon. That is how the male dragon was created. When he saw Stitch, he got angry and ran away. He was later found in a nest on a cliff. Jumba realized that he was waiting for the full moon. Later, Ai and Jumba discovered that he was expecting a female on a full moon. At that moment, his Qi energy was at its limit, but if he did not find the female, she would fall and rise again only after a hundred years. Also, he would turn into a dragon demon. Jumba urgently created a female for him and brought her to the male. The two dragon united, but in the morning they were attacked by the Woolagongs, who were later defeated with the help of the dragons. It also turned out that the dragons had an egg from which a baby hatched at the end of the episode. Later, they were sent to a parallel dimension inhabited by various mythological creatures.
"Monstrosity"[]
In this episode, the Cliff Dragons and some other Chinese experiments were summoned from a parallel dimension to battle the Jaboodies.
Personality[]
By nature, they behave like typical dragons, initially distrusting others. There are also animal instincts such as reproduction, self-defense, protection of baby offspring, and so on. Initially, the male dragon behaved aggressively and saw Stitch as a rival. The female saw Stitch and Ai as prey and wanted to eat them. But later, Stitch and Ai were able to gain both of their trust. After that, Stitch and Ai helped fight the aliens.

Physical appearance[]
The male and female dragons look like Chinese dragons in tan and teal, respectively. Outwardly, they resemble snakes with whiskers, four legs and a tail. Their baby is red.
Special abilities[]
The Cliff Dragons have a unique Qi power that allows them to fly without wings. This power was later tested on Dim Long and used in the creation of the Xiezhi. They have good flexibility and can wriggle. They are also able to breathe fire.
Weaknesses[]
If they have a baby egg, they will have to defend the nest in parallel, which will weaken them. Also, if a male does not find a female on a full moon, he will lose his Qi power.

- The Cliff Dragons are based on Chinese mythological dragons.
- The male dragons only look for females during a full moon. They are also most aggressive towards other males at this time, as they see them as rivals. If the male doesn't find a female during the full moon, he then loses his Qi power for a hundred years, after which he starts searching for a female again. Also, if he does not find a female, he turns into a dragon demon.
- The tan and teal dragons are the first experiments in the franchise to reproduce.
- The baby is the first experiment to be created via reproduction, and thus the first naturally born experiment (unless the "Sproutling" in the international edit of Stitch! counts).
- Unlike the female dragon, the male has a mustache.
